Latest Update on 20th September 2017: 

The University of Portharcourt has fixed a date for the Post utme examination for the 2017/2018 academic session.More details can be seen HERE.

Few days ago,the University of Portharcourt (UNIPORT) postponed her Post UTME screening exercise for the 2017/2018 session. The reason for postponing the Post UTME exercise of the school was mentioned here. As of today, the 15th of September 2017, i decided to make a post regarding the post utme exercise and how prepared you should be for it.

About The Postponing of UNIPORT Post UTME exercise

For now, i have not gotten any further update as regards the postponing of the school’s post utme exercise but by my speculation, the post utme screening may have been postponed as a result of the ongoing ASUU strike since lecturers who may be involved conducting the exercise may not be around (My opinion though).

What You should do during the waiting period?

I’d advise you to keep on studying your books. The post utme screening is not different from the normal Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) computer based test (CBT). Study the subjects you wrote in your JAMB UTME CBT exam.

Note that it is not ok to score high in JAMB and low in the post utme screening exercise. Your aim should be high on both.
